The Firecat is an extremely flexible fire sensor for use with security or other systems operating at 12Vdc. The unit can be configured to operate either as an optical, optical-heat, rate of rise heat or fixed temperature heat sensor via selection switches at the rear. The sensor's output is via a relay with volt free contacts, which can be set to latch or auto reset from the alarm condition.
The sensor is also self monitoring so that, in the event of a chamber failure or reaching the limit of its contamination compensating facility, the LED will illuminate yellow continuously.
